A beautiful track from this elusive yet already classic Romanian band. The lyrical theme is very interesting and I cant wait to hear the full album that this song advertises.
RO/EN După aproape doi ani, saga Zimbrului Alb a luat sfârșit.

about
lyrics
Drumul Robilor
Fără niciun cuvânt nu ieșim din rând
Înrobiți de milenii.
Pe tărâm neumblat ispășim păcat.
Stăpâni ne sunt viclenii.
Amară povară...
Fără niciun cuvânt am pierdut ce-i sfânt
Dintre ape vii iveam galaxii
Deasupra bradul lumii.
Amară povară
Amar un trai de robi fără țară.
Fără niciun cuvânt nu ieșim din rând
Înrobiți de milenii.
Road of Serfdom
In our muted confine, we have toed the line,
Bound in shackles for ages.
On untrodden land thrown, for sin we atone,
The wily rule our cages.
So grievous the onus…
In our muted confine, we have lost the divine
In the life-giving wellspring.
Our steps duly teem in a silvery stream
That inspires the faring.
So grievous the onus.
Serf’s grievous plight, of homeland reft, so heinous.
We have buried our bliss in the dark abyss,
Locked in phantasm’s shimmer.
You behold our decay in the lands far away,
With obscurity’s glimmer.
So grievous the onus.
Serf’s grievous plight, of homeland reft, so heinous.
Holy angels erst, we, world’s fathers first,
The abyss’s guards were.
From the living seas, we’d wring galaxies
Above the sacrosanct world fir.
So grievous, the onus
Serfs’ grievous plight upon home-disowned us.
Home-disowned us.
In our muted confine, we have toed the line,
Bound in shackles for ages.

It seems Dordeduh only releases an album once a decade. while that is pretty awful, the one major positive is that both albums are absolutely masterful musical perfection. Both Black and Prog are my favorite metal subgenres and no one can touch the fantastic fusion of black, folk and prog that Dordeduh does. I can hope that album 3 doesnt take another decade though. Stop reading this and buy the damn album already! 5/5 ClassyMusicSnob

Album exceptionnel.
