La marginea codrului,
La poalele muntelui,
Sub stânca voinicului
Șede feciorel de samă.
Zână bună-i a lui mamă.
A sa mamă rătăcește.
Codrul strigă zâna bună,
Spune s-aducă cunună.
Fluturii se-adună nori
Și-l acoperă cu flori.
Să-i fie hodina lină,
Să-i fie inima plină,
De dor mult și nesecat,
De-al său pământ fermecat.
Să salte iară-n șa,
Cu munții el va juca,
Cu norii în zbor s-o-ntrecea,
Și-apoi spre soare-o urca.
In Yon Greenwood’s Livery
In yon greenwood’s livery,
In yon mountain’s shrubbery,
Neath the crags of bravery
Lies the son of mighty valour.
Blessed fairy is his mother.
Laid to rest, the son sleeps yonder
And his mother’s doomed to wander.
Greenwood calls the blessed fairy
Tells her to fetch wreath to bury.
Butterflies in wispy cloud
Pour in flowers for a shroud.
That he sleep tight like a maiden,
That his gentle heart be laden,
With his yearning’s burning brand
For his charmed forsaken land.
To saddle up again
To gambol with yonder ben,
In flight with the clouds to contend,
Then into the sun he’ll ascend.

When you like your prog to be more beautiful and/or accessible than prog-proggy, than this is for you! Melodic as hell and yes, Peter Falconer is quite a singer! That wouldn't go half the way without the solid songs of Pat Sanders. A great combination of skills ;-) Carsten Pieper

So what kind of music is this? "Symphonic Prog Folk" maybe...?! Difficult to put this into a drawer. Anyway, it's among the best things I've found in the last few years. The songs are of stunning beauty, with rich keyboard and guitar arrangements, plus flute, violin, and classical brass and woodwind. And let's not forget the most appealing female vocals. Just pure pleasure without rough edges. The album is issued on an italian label, and, in fact, if there weren't the occasional greek lyrics, this band might be erroneously considered an italian prog band... which is a big compliment!
